Backups – Cloud Based/Onsite
Cloud Based Backups, also referred to as cloud computer backup, refers to the backing up of data to a remote cloud-based server. In a sense, it works as a form of cloud storage, allowing you to store and access data from multiple distributed and connected server resources that make up a cloud environment.
At its most basic level, cloud backup allows organizations and individuals to store data from their computers in a cloud setting rather than locally on a disk or network drive. These files can thus be accessed and stored from any machine at home or at work by simply accessing the storage location remotely through a client login application, typically in the form of a web browser session.
Online backup systems typically rely on a client software application to be installed on an individual computer. The use of this application allows for scheduled backups to occur, though files can individually be uploaded via web client.
Wirelexx provides both Cloud-based and On-site backup options. Contact us for pricing
ISP is an acronym that stands for Internet Service Provider. In short, an ISP provides you with different types of Internet access. Connecting to the Internet requires specific telecommunications, networking, and routing equipment. ISPs allow users access to networks that contain the required equipment, enabling users to establish Internet connectivity. Wirelexx is an Internet Service Provider with premium support for the times that you experience Internet Connectivity or require internet speed upgrades.
Cable Management – Network
Cable management is the organization of cables connected to electrical devices. This includes power cables, network cables, audio/video cables, and many others. Managing cables is a key aspect of a clean and safe work environment. If good practice is followed in terms of cable management, the lifetime of your systems and devices can be extended
Companies with complex systems, a lot of hardware and large servers often require a large amount of cables. For example, a desktop computer may require a power cord, Ethernet cable, and multiple USB cables for peripheral devices. A server room/system may include multiple power cables and ethernet cables. The resulting pile of cables, if not managed properly, can easily become a tangled mess resulting in difficult diagnosis and damage.
Network Installations and Management
Wirelexx can install and setup computer networks such as local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), internet connections, and other data communications systems. We also install and manage server hardware and software infrastructure, set up user accounts and passwords, monitor network usage and setup security for your networks.
Simply put, a centralized database is one where the information is collected, stored, and maintained in one location, but is accessible from many points. As a rule, this means using one central database system or mainframe. If your data is scattered across multiple systems, it might be time to consider centralizing your data. Active Directory Services
Microsoft’s Active Directory (AD) is not well known, but it is a critical component in securing Windows Server-based networks.
Active Directory, introduced with Windows Server 2000, is included with most versions of Windows Server, but is also available as a service1. Its primary function is to facilitate authentication and authorization of users (members) and resources within an AD domain. (An AD domain is a logical collection of users, computers, groups, and other objects; multiple domains can be created for different sites or groups, and trust relationships can be established between these domains.)
One of AD’s greatest strengths is to permit the centralized creation of user and group-based policies; it can then enforce these policies, ensuring that members comply with login and usage requirements. Plus, it logs policy violations and login attempts, supporting the automation of error-log-checking solutions.
Data and Hardware Auditing
A hardware audit is an assessment of all the hardware devices that are used to organise the computer network of the company. This include all computers, routers, modems, access points, etc. The hardware audits job is to make sure that all your hardware is up to date, working to the best of it’s ability and doing the job it was bought for.
